Commentary on HB 68/SB 112 -- Allowing Lawsuit
Proceeds to be Invested in Texas Tomorrow Fund

HB 68 (by Rep. Joe Nixon) and SB 112 (by Sen. Buster Brown) would allow lawsuit proceeds to be placed in the Texas Tomorrow Fund under Chapter 142 of the Property Code, as an alternative to Section 142.005 trusts, federally insured deposits, etc. [01/08/99]
